Family and Preventive Dentistry

We accept patients of all ages, making our office a convenient choice if you have children in your home.It is especially important that children are as comfortable with the family dentist as possible, because visiting a dentist can be a difficult experience for young children that is why we invite the parents to get the children along for their routine care visits. We provide all preventative dentistry services, such as regular cleanings, xrays, fluoride treatments and sealants.

Restorative Dentistry

We diagnose and treat all issues relating to the health and function of the smile, including the treatment and repair of broken, infected, or otherwise damaged teeth, gums, and tissue.

We diagnose and treat gum Disease or Periodontal Disease characterized by swollen, tender, or bleeding gums. Both early and advanced periodontal disease can be treated with surgical or non-surgical therapy.

Root Canal Therapy
(RCT)

Infected tissues in the tooth pulp can cause severe pain and eventually lead to tooth loss.We treat the effected teeth with Root Canal Therapy which is designed to remove infected tissue with the goal of saving the tooth.

1: Tooth with abscess
2: RCT done to remove dead tissue
3: After RCT infection has resolved, roots are filled with Gutta Percha

Oral Surgery

We provide a variety of oral surgical procedures such as extractions, alveoplasties (bone surgery prior to dentures) and implant procedures.

Implants

We provide all implant related services. Dental Implants are substitutes for teeth and they are today’s best alternative to your natural teeth. They offer you a permanent solution for replacing one or more teeth. They are made of biocompatible materials, just the same as hip implants or similar orthopedic devices, and function as anchors for crowns, bridges or dentures.

Many of our patients will tell you that implants have changed not only their smiles and their overall appearance, but even their lives! There are numerous reasons to choose dental implants:

  • Esthetically, they support restorations that look like real teeth. Functionally, dental implants feel and act like real teeth.
  • Implants eliminate the need for distasteful adhesives. There is no longer a need to use "glue" when your denture is anchored to implants.
  • Implants can actually improve the taste of food. With less plastic covering the roof of your mouth, you can enjoy natural flavors and sensations again.
  • Lastly, implants can help maintain your bone structure and support your facial tissues. They can reduce or eliminate bone atrophy, which causes "shrinkage" or facial cosmetic changes

Crowns, Bridges and Partials

We offer gold, all ceramic and porcelain fused to metal crowns and bridges. We also offer full dentures and partial dentures.

Dentures / Repairs

Dentures are removable appliances that can replace missing teeth and help restore your smile. If you’ve lost all or some of your natural teeth, whether from gum disease, tooth decay or injury, replacing missing teeth will benefit your appearance and your health. That’s because dentures make it easier to eat and speak better than you could without teeth—things that people often take for granted.

When you lose all of your teeth, facial muscles can sag, making you look older. Dentures can help fill out the appearance of your face and profile. They can be made to closely resemble your natural teeth so that your appearance does not change much. Dentures may even improve the look of your smile.

Types of dentures:

Conventional: This full removable denture is made and placed in your mouth after the remaining teeth are removed and tissues have healed, which may take several months.

Immediate: This removable denture is inserted on the same day that the remaining teeth are removed. We will take measurements and make models of your jaw during a preliminary visit. You don’t have to be without teeth during the healing period, but may need to have the denture relined or remade after your jaw has healed.

Overdenture: Sometimes some of your teeth can be saved to preserve your jawbone and provide stability and support for the denture. An overdenture fits over a small number of remaining natural teeth after they have been prepared by your dentist. Implants can serve the same function, too.

Implant Supported Overdentures: These are similar to overdentures but instead of using the teeth to support dentures, 2-4 implants may be placed to support the denture.

New dentures may feel awkward for a few weeks until you become accustomed to them. The dentures may feel loose while the muscles of your cheek and tongue learn to keep them in place. It is not unusual to experience minor irritation or soreness. You may find that saliva flow temporarily increases. As your mouth becomes accustomed to the dentures, these problems should go away. Follow-up are generally needed after a denture is inserted so the fit can be checked and adjusted.

We offer all types of complete dentures listed above and also offer Cast partial dentures and the flexible Valplast partial dentures.

We also provide all types of denture repair services and most of the time can have the denture back to you in 24 hours.

Cosmetic Dentistry

We offer Cosmetic Dentistry procedures like:

  • Veneers- Porcelain veneers can be made to close spaces, increase length, whiten and straighten teeth, so they are preferred by many of our patients. Deep tetracycline stains can be removed from a smile with this procedure. Veneers can sometimes allow patients to bypass orthodontic treatment.
  • Teeth Whitening- Also referred to as bleaching, is available to our patients as a take home kit with trays designed specifically for their teeth
  • Porcelain crowns and bridges
  • Tooth colored fillings or bondings
